Every Dollar Feeds Kids
supports children in the city of Cuernavaca, Mexico and several nearby
villages. As a Partner Church, we have also begun providing support to children in villages
in Guayaquil, Ecuador. We provide regular meals and vitamin supplements to
youngsters who would otherwise have to survive on occasional meals from
their poverty-stricken families. This food assistance enables these
kids to have the strength to attend school.
Every Dollar Feeds Kids is
sponsored by the EDFK Partner Churches: First Congregational Church of
San Rafael, California, First Congregational Church in Southington,
Connecticut, the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Sisters, Oregon,
and the Federated Church (UCC) in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Many other
congregations, as well as community organizations, are “Contributing” members of EDFK.
The administration of EDFK is managed entirely by
volunteers and overhead expenses are covered by the Partner Churches.
